Ingredients
- Small tomato
chopped - 2
- Small onion
chopped - 7
- Tamarind
juice - 3 tbsp
- Coriander
seed - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric
powder – ½ tsp
- Carrot/potato
chopped - 1/2 (but I prefer carrot)
- Red chilli -

- Fried gram–
1tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed
- ½ tsp
- Curry leaves
and coriander leaves few
- Salt
Preparation
- Heat the pan
with oil, add coriander seed and saute for a min and add red chilli (1) and onion
(3) saute for a min and then add tomato (1), cook until tomato smash.
- Now
cool the mixture and add the fried gram, grind it as smooth paste without adding water.
- Heat the pan with oil and add mustard, allow
to split and add red chilli, onion saute for a min, then add the remaining chopped
tomatoes, veg carrot/potato, curry leaves, allow to cook until the veg soft,
then add the turmeric powder, tamarind juice and salt mix well.
- Allow to
cook till raw smell goes off and add the grounded mixture and mix well.
- Cook in
medium flame, add required water according to the thickness you want. Allow to boil for 3 – 4 mins.
- Finally add
coriander on the top.
- Ready to

Preparation
- Add chopped tomatoes, garlic and
salt in mixer jar and grind it a smooth paste.
- Heat the pan with oil, add
mustard, channa dal, curry leaves and the grounded tomato paste and add chilli powder.
Mix well.
- In low flame, add little water
and allow to cook until the raw smell goes off.
- Ready to serve spicy and tangy
tomato chutney.

- Coconut- 2tbsp
- Green chilli - 1
- Dry red chilli – 1
- Chilli powder – 1tsp
- Garlic – 4-5
- Jeera -1 tsb
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Oil – 2- 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves few
- Salt
Preparation
- Wash and remove the seeds from bitter
gourd, cut into small pieces.
- Now in a mixer jar,add coconut,
turmeric powder,jeera, chilli powder, garlic and salt, grind roughly.
- Heat the pan with oil and add
mustard after splits add dry red chilli, green chilli and curry leaves.
- Now add the chopped onion
and saute for a min and add pavakka and
saute for 2 mins and add the grounded mixture and mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook in medium
flame, until the pavakka cooks well.
- Ready to serve tasty South Indian
