Kambu Dosa / Pearl Millet Dosa / Bajra Dosa



Ingredients

  •  Kambu/ pearl millet /bajra-1 cup
  •  Idli rice - ½ cup
  •  Raw rice – ½ cup
  •  Urad dal – ¼ cup
  •  Fenugreek seeds- 1 tsp 
  •  Salt  

Preparation

  • Wash and soak all the ingredients together for 5-6 hours.
  • Put all the soaked ingredients in to grinder and add salt, grind it smooth batter by adding water as needed.  Keep aside and Cover the batter to ferment for 4-5 hours.
  • After ferment mix the batter well, Change the consistency if it’s too thick by adding little water.
  • Now ready to make dosa.
  • Heat dosa pan and pour 1 cups full of batter and spread uniformly. Then sprinkle sufficient oil and cook up until it’s golden in medium flame flip other side and cook. 
  • Ready to serve hot with sambar, veg kootu and chutney.
