Ingredients:
- Brinjal (small) – 15
- Oil -2tbs
- Mustard -1tsp
- Curry Leaves - few
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Sambar Powder - 1tbsp (according to your taste)
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Salt required
Preparation:
- Wash brinjal (eggplant) and cut them into small pieces.
- Heat the pan with oil, add mustard, splutters add the curry leaves, asafoetida and add brinjal saute a min and add sambar powder, turmeric and salt. Cook this in low flame for 20-30 min till it done, no need to sprinkle water. Stir it frequently so that the masala gets mixed equally.
