Ingredients
- Sprouted green gram - 2 cups
- Small onion – 10 finely chopped
- green chilli - 2 slit
- Channa dal – ½ tsp
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Jeera – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Lemon juice – ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves few
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Oil – 1tsp
- Salt to taste
- Grated coconut – 1 tbsp (optional)
Preparation
- Wash and stain the sprouted green gram in water.
- Now using idly pot or any vessel to steam the sprout for 5 mins in medium flame. Then keep them side.
- Heat the pan with oil, add mustard allow to split, add jeera, cumin and allow to colour change.
- Now add the chilli, curry leaves, onion and salt, saute for 1 sec.
- Add the cooked sprouted dal, coconut and mix well. Cook for 1 min and off the flame.
- Final add the lemon juice, coriander leaves and pepper powder.
- Ready to serve easy, healthy and tasty Green Gram Sprout.
