Ingredients
- Pavakka - 1
- Onion - 6 -7
- Coconut- 2tbsp
- Green chilli - 1
- Dry red chilli – 1
- Chilli powder – 1tsp
- Garlic – 4-5
- Jeera -1 tsb
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Oil – 2- 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves few
- Salt
Preparation
- Wash and remove the seeds from bitter gourd, cut into small pieces.
- Now in a mixer jar,add coconut, turmeric powder,jeera, chilli powder, garlic and salt, grind roughly.
- Heat the pan with oil and add mustard after splits add dry red chilli, green chilli and curry leaves.
- Now add the chopped onion and saute for a min and add pavakka and saute for 2 mins and add the grounded mixture and mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook in medium flame, until the pavakka cooks well.
