Ingredients
- Green peas - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Red chilli - 1
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Chillies powder – 1tsp
- Jeera seed- ½ tsp
- Coconut milk - ½ cups
- Coriander leaves - few
- Oil
- Salt
For grind
- Small onion - 3
- Ginger- 1 inch
- Garlic – 6
- Tomato - 1 small
Preparation
- Heat the pan with oil, add jeera, red chilli, onions and cook till golden brown colour.
- Now add turmeric powder and grounded paste, salute till raw smell goes off.
- Then add the boiled peas, salt and water, cover and cook till the paste thicken.
- Finally add the coconut milk and mix well. Reduce the flame and cook 5mins. Add chopped coriander leaves and remove.
- Ready to serve South Indian special green peas gravy with dosa and chapathi.
