Ingredients
- Urad Dal – 1 cup
- Chana Dal - 1/2 cup
- Dried Red Chillies – 10 - 12 (according to you spicy taste)
- Curry Leaves - few
- Asafoetida - 3/4 tsp
- Rock Salt to taste
Preparation
- Dry roast the dal separately (channa & urad) till slight brown.
- Then roast chilies and curry leaf till crispy.
- Finally add asafoetida. Keep aside and allow to cool.
- Add necessary salt and grind the roasted ingredients to a coarse mix or fine powder.
- Cool down and store it in box and enjoy the taste. Use gingelly and coconut oil.
- Ready to use Idli Milagai Podi with idli and dosa.
