Ingredients
- Kambu/ pearl millet /bajra-1 cup
- Idli rice - ½ cup
- Raw rice – ½ cup
- Urad dal – ¼ cup
- Fenugreek seeds- 1 tsp
- Salt
Preparation
- Wash and soak all the ingredients together for 5-6 hours.
- Put all the soaked ingredients in to grinder and add salt, grind it smooth batter by adding water as needed. Keep aside and Cover the batter to ferment for 4-5 hours.
- After ferment mix the batter well, Change the consistency if it’s too thick by adding little water.
- Now ready to make dosa.
- Heat dosa pan and pour 1 cups full of batter and spread uniformly. Then sprinkle sufficient oil and cook up until it’s golden in medium flame flip other side and cook.
- Ready to serve hot with sambar, veg kootu and chutney.
